Having An Ad Day

I’ve watched a lot of football this season. A lot. Not that I’m complaining, mind you. Few rooms on the planet are better equipped for a Sunday of football-watching than the Oval Office of the soon-to-be-former Fanball World Headquarters in Minneapolis, with 10 flat-screen hi-def TVs, wireless Internet access, and Charch’s chili cheese dip.

A Great Gridiron Gesture

Those who played against Kyle Turley during his NFL career probably wouldn’t characterize him as a giving person-unless the “giving” included his alleged array of cheap shots, including ripping the helmet off an opponent and once threatening to kill his coach. So perhaps it was a bit surprising to see his name at the fore of the Gridiron Guardians Sunday project, generating revenue and awareness for Gridiron Greats, a collective of current NFL players looking to help former players who have fallen on hard times and don’t find the help they need from the NFLPA, their pension, and their medical plan.
